Concrete Mix Design

Concrete Mix Design
The main components of concrete include cement, sand and stone. And the water and the adjectors are helpful to them. Cement is the bonding agent in the language of engineering. Bali is fine aggregate and stone is of course aggregate. Reacting with water cement, cement + sand + stone has a thickness of element. The whole material becomes solid like stones. But are they like mixing ?? Does not go. Concrete power depends on the ratio of cement, sand, stone, water, and adimator.

We speak cement: sand: stone in general language. Such as 1: 2: 3 or 1: 1.5: 3 or 1: 2: 4. But this ratio is not everything. Cement-water ratio is an important issue. The mixture of different size stones in the stone is also very important. For example, if all the stones are 20 mile size, then it will not be good. The smaller size should be smaller than the middle of the stone. That's why a word is associated with stone size. It is "down grade". That means smaller stones than this and it will also be in the right way.
The mixing method is called mix design.
Different researchers (multitude) gave different methods for mix design. Currently ACI Mix design is used more. There are also some methods. Although they are quite old Such as:
1. False less space or void position. It would have been noticed that the mixer did not have any emptiness. In other words, there was more density. This is a pretty old method
2. Fuller method: It is also a method of increasing the density. Fuller and Thomson discovered this method. They give the form - p = 100 x root (d / d)
Percentage of smaller components than p = d
d = Size of small elements
D = Psy of big element
If 20mm is large size, 4.75 is small size, then the smaller size element than 4.75 should have 50 percent.
3.Talboat-Richard method: It is mixed by determining the proportion of cement. However, this method is not very popular
4. Wellness Modulus Method: The formula below
p = 100 (A-B) / (A-C)
P = Fine aggregate ratio with the total aggregate
A = Finance Modules for the Course Aggregate
B = According to the table, the highest authorized fitness modules related to cement
C = Fine Aggregate's Finance Modulus
5. ACI method: This is the most used. There was a written text before us in this regard.
